Driver airlifted after rig goes airborne and lands inside laundromat

A truck driver was airlifted to a hospital after his semi truck went airborne and landed inside of a laundromat. 

The accident happened at around 5:30 a.m. in Germany Township, Pennsylvania. 

According to WGAL 8, the semi truck hit a parked car on South Queen Street and went airborne before overturning and crashing into a laundromat. 

The truck driver was injured in the crash and had to be airlifted from the scene. Police shut down South Queen Street for evaluation of the damage. 

The structural integrity of the building has not yet been determined and the cause of the wreck has not been released. The drivers current condition is not known.
