Driver arrested for brandishing weapon in threatening manner

A truck driver was taken into custody on Wednesday after acting in a threatening manner towards a motorist. 

The incident occurred on December 4th in Little Rock, Arkansas on Interstate 40 near Prothro Junction at around 10 a.m. 

According to ABC7, the victim contacted police and described a road rage incident involving a semi truck driver. The victim described the semi truck, and police soon located the vehicle and truck driver. 

When questioned, 38-year-old truck driver, Ernest Oneal, told police that he had gestured with a weapon in a threatening manner towards the motorist while traveling east on I-40 at the 156 mile marker earlier that morning. 

Police then took Oneal into custody. He was booked into the Pulaski County Detention Center on one count of felony aggravated assault and one count of carrying a weapon.
