Driver found crushed between tandem trailers in mall parking lot

A truck driver was found crushed between two tandem trailers by a passerby in a mall parking lot in California on Friday morning.

The accident happened on June 28th sometime before 8:45 a.m. in the parking lot of the Pacific View Mall in Ventura, California.

According to Ventura County Star, a passerby in the parking lot happened to notice something was wrong and contacted police. Police responded to the scene and are still working to determine what exactly happened.

“It looks like the driver got crushed in between two tandem trailers,” said police Cmdr. Mike Brown. Officers believe that that truck driver was in between the two trailers when something caused them to jackknife. The driver was then crushed in between them.
