Dump truck driver choked and punched by irate motorist

Police are searching for a motorist after a dump truck driver says he was attacked by the man in a fit of road rage. 

The incident occurred on October 9th at around 3:30 p.m. in Snyder County, Pennsylvania on route 35. Police are still searching for the suspect. 

According to PA Homepage, the dump truck driver was hauling stones when a van passed him and brake checked him. The motorist in the van then got out of his car and yelled at the dump truck driver for a rock that had fallen from his rig and broke the van’s windshield. 

The two men then argued and the motorist jumped onto the dump truck and hit the driver through the window. The motorist then opened the truck door and punched him between 12 and 15 times before choking him into unconsciousness. The suspect then fled the scene. 

Officers describe the suspect as a man with a dark colored beard between 5’10” and 6” tall with a large build. The van was possibly a dodge with a blue rectangular business logo on the side. The license plate is believed to be out of Virginia.
