Published:

A flatbed semi truck landed upside down, hanging partially off of a New Hampshire highway on Friday morning.

The accident happened on the morning of August 16th on the southbound side of Interstate 293 near Exit 6 in Manchester, New Hampshire.

According to Boston 25, the truck driver and motorist involved in the crash sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital after the incident.

Drivers in the area are urged to find an alternate route until further notice. Traffic is currently being detoured off of I-293 at exit 6.

“It is estimated that it will take several hours to remove the tractor-trailer,” state police wrote in a Twitter post. “Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area.”

The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
