Four teens fatally struck by semi truck after running stop sign, says Wisconsin sheriff

Wisconsin police are investigating a multiple fatality collision involving a pickup and a semi truck that occurred early Monday morning.

Police responded to the crash at 4 a.m. on Monday, May 27, in Elba, Wisconsin.

According to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, the initial investigation showed that “a 2000 Ford F150 was traveling north on County Highway TT when it failed to stop at the stop sign on County Highway TT at State Highway 16/60. A 2017 Western Star Semi without trailer, was traveling east on State Highway 16/60 when it struck the Ford F150.”

Of the five occupants in the Ford pickup, three people died at the scene, including the 19 year old driver, as well as a 16 year old male and a 17 year old male. An 18 year old female later died at a hospital.

Another 18 year old female suffered life-threatening injuries.

The 57 year old truck driver was hospitalized with minor injuries.

The crash is under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office Crash Investigation Team.
