Some parts of New York received as much as three feet of snow overnight.
Impressive lake effect snow being dumped on along the @NYSThruway overnight, with nearly 3 feet has already fallen at Lackawanna and a jaw-dropping 5”/hour max rate from the Blasdell site!
Gusty SW winds around 40mph are helping fuel the intense snow bands.#nysmesonet pic.twitter.com/HtgMy30rL2
