Officials have issued a full commercial vehicle ban for part of the New York State Thruway due to winter weather conditions.
Starting at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, January 17, all commercial vehicles are banned from travel on the New York State Thruway System from Exit 46 (Rochester – Corning – I-390) to the Pennsylvania State Line, and I-190 (Both Directions) until further notice.

Some parts of New York received as much as three feet of snow overnight.
