Georgia officer finds multiple violations on commercial vehicle pulled over for ‘sparks flying’

The Georgia Department of Public Safety (DPS) shared details on a recent commercial vehicle traffic stop that revealed equipment and license violations.

On July 16, Georgia DPS took to social media to provide information on a recent commercial vehicle traffic stop along I-16.

“While patrolling I-16 this week, MCO Clements (Region F) noticed sparks flying from the rear of a commercial motor vehicle (CMV). Upon stopping the CMV for an inspection, Officer Clements discovered more than just missing tires—the driver was also operating with a suspended license,” officials said.

Georgia DPS also shared several photos of the violations uncovered.
