Interstate 75 was shut down overnight after a semi truck crashed while hauling logs.
The accident happened on November 17th at around 10 p.m. in Sadieville, Kentucky on I-75.
According to Fox56 News, the semi truck was hauling logs southbound when the driver says he hit something in the roadway. The item in the roadway caused the driver to lose control and crash the truck, sending logs spilling over the barrier and into the northbound lane of the highway.Â
The semi truck then caught fire. The driver was not seriously hurt, but the incident did force the closure of I-75 until 5 a.m. on Monday, November 18th.
The incident is still under investigation.
