Iowa cops bust driver for ‘traffic hazard’ house move

Published:

The Iowa State Patrol Commercial Motor Vehicle Unit discovered multiple violations while assisting a local sheriff’s office in investigating an illegal oversized load.

On Sunday, May 5, the Iowa State Patrol took to social media to share details about a recent house move gone wrong.

“One of our Troopers got called to assist their local sheriffs office with this traffic hazard called in by the public. Beyond the obvious, the truck hadn’t been registered in 16 years, no oversize permit, no insurance, no authority, and multiple other issues were discovered,” Iowa troopers said.
