One trucking company owner’s lottery winnings will go right back into his company, he says.
The man, who was not named, says he was running his weekend errands earlier this month when he decided to make a stop at the Greensboro, Maryland Tiger Mart. Once inside, he decided to play two Pick 5 games, and ended up winning a $50,000 prize.
“I normally buy all my games from another location and always from the cashier,” he told lottery officials. “But here, I went to the vending machine.”
He says that, after checking his ticket, he “couldn’t breathe,” and immediately called his wife.
“I sat there looking at the numbers …” he said.
The anonymous trucking company owner says that he plans on putting most of his winnings back into his trucking business, but also wants to take a vacation, and use the rest of the money for his family.
