Major shutdowns as semi truck fire soars to upper deck on I-10

Interstate 10 was shut down on Wednesday night in San Antonio after a semi truck caught fire. 

The incident occurred on November 13th at around 6:40 p.m. on I-10 in San Antonio, Texas. 

According to News4SanAntonio, A semi truck hauling solar panels caught fire on the lower levels of I-10 eastbound at Culebra. The fire grew so large that the flames reached the upper level of I-10 eastbound, forcing the closure of the upper level, along with the closure of the east and westbound sides of the lower level of I-10. 

No one was injured in the fire, and no damage was done to other vehicles. It is unclear if other vehicles were involved in the accident. 

Traffic backups were substantial during cleanup of the incident. No further information has been released.
