Man arrested for midday hog hunt behind Texas truck stop

A man was arrested late last week after shooting wild hogs behind a truck stop in Texas. 

The incident occurred on Friday, December 6th at the Flying J truck stop at 1011 Beltway Parkway in Laredo, Texas. 

According to KGNS TV, police were called to the truck stop around noon on reports of shots fired behind the building. Officers arrived to find 31-year-old Albert Torres in the parking lot shooting at hogs from his pickup truck. 

Torres admitted to police that he had shot the animals but stated that he had permission from the truck stop manager to shoot the animals. 

Police also discovered that Torres was in possession of a vape pen containing THC.
