A man has been arrested and charged in connection with an Indiana interstate shooting that left a truck driver with major injuries last week.
On Saturday, March 30, Indiana resident Donavon A. Brewer, 32, turned himself in to police and was booked into the Jasper County Jail, according to Indiana State Police.

The charges were issued following a shooting that took place on March 28 in Jasper County, Indiana.

A semi truck driver was traveling southbound on I-65 at mile marker 224 when he was struck by gunfire.
Troopers provided first aid until paramedics arrived. The truck driver was airlifted from the scene to a hospital for treatment of a possibly life-threatening gunshot wound.
The investigation is ongoing.
