One person was injured on Monday evening when a manufactured home haul went awry on a California roadway.
The incident occurred around 7 p.m. on Monday, June 24, in Pasadena, California.
Authorities say that a semi truck was transporting a manufactured home on the 210 Freeway when it became involved in a crash with a second semi truck and a Honda CRV.
A woman who was in the sleeper area of the second semi truck was transported to a hospital for treatment following the crash.
The driver of the second semi truck, Tarane Black, said that he had pulled off on the shoulder prior to the crash due to mechanical issues on his own truck.
“All of a sudden that load came through, I guess he couldn’t slow down or something and ran into the back of me there,” Black told CBS News.
The incident resulted in massive traffic backups on the westbound 210 Freeway, with some lanes remaining closed into Tuesday morning.
The dash cam video below appears to show the crash.
