Murder suspect sought after trucker found with gunshot wound near his semi, Texas cops say

Texas police are asking for public help in locating a person of interest in the death of a trucker found with a gunshot wound in Midland County over the weekend.

At 10 a.m. on Sunday, May 12, the Midland County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) was dispatched to the 10,000 block of South FM 1788 in Midland County, Texas, for a medical call.

When deputies arrived, they found a deceased male with a gunshot wound lying on the ground outside of his 18 wheeler.

“Foul play is suspected, and this case is being worked as a homicide,” MCSO said.

Police are asking for help from the public in identifying a dark-colored Dodge single-cab dually pickup truck, possibly blue in color, that was seen in the area at the time of the shooting.

Anyone with information is asked to call Midland Crime Stoppers at 694-TIPS. A cash reward of $1000 may be available.
