Several people were reportedly killed in a crash involving a van and a big rig in Wisconsin on Friday.
According to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office Wisconsin (CCSO), the crash happened on the morning of Friday, March 8, in Dewhurst.
From CCSO:
“Preliminary reports indicate that there was a semi-tractor and trailer traveling eastbound on STH 95 approaching the intersection of CTH J. As the semi-tractor was approaching the intersection, a van was driving northbound on CTH J.
The van continued northbound, entered the intersection, and was struck by the semi traveling eastbound.“
While CCSO has not released information on how many people were hurt, local outlet KSTP reports that nine people were killed in the crash.

The crash is under investigation by CCSO and the Wisconsin State Patrol.
