Ohio troopers seek maroon commercial vehicle following I-71 crash that killed CMV driver and motorist

Published:

The Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) is asking for public help in locating a commercial vehicle believed to have been involved in a double fatality crash on Halloween night.

Troopers say the crash occurred on October 31 around 10 p.m. on I-71 in Westfield Township, Medina County, Ohio.

A Volvo commercial vehicle driven by Daved Brown, 68, was southbound on I-71 when it became disabled in the right lane of the interstate, near mile marker 206.

Mark McGraw, 73, was operating a 2018 Chevrolet Trax south on I-71 when he struck the disabled Volvo.

A third vehicle also struck the Volvo.

Both McGraw and Brown died at the scene.

Anyone who has information on a red or maroon colored commercial vehicle with heavy driver and passenger-side damage is asked to call the Medina Post at (330) 725-4921.
