A paid truck parking facility opened at a former Phoenix Yellow terminal this week.
The 11 acre facility is located at 3045 S 43rd Ave in Phoenix, Arizona and was sold to Semi-Stow as part of the Yellow Corporation bankruptcy sale. The terminal features cross-docks, office space, truck maintenance shops, and truck parking. This is the third Semi-Stow location in the Phoenix area and is 10 minutes from Interstate 10, reported News Observer.
Semi-Stow’s other two Phoenix-area locations are already full, leading the company to the decision to open up a third. The new location will offer 300 truck parking spaces that renters can use for parking, storing, or staging trucks and trailers. The spaces can be rented by the spot or by the acre at a daily or monthly rate.
“Our Phoenix expansion is in direct response to surging customer demand for our fleet yards,” said Trent Cameron, CEO of Semi-Stow. “Trucking companies of all sizes stand to benefit from more accessible, secure parking in the greater Phoenix metro. And we look forward to expanding our relationships with nearby enterprise fleets, who increasingly use our yards for strategic trailer positioning and drop-and-hook relays.”
Semi-Stow is a network of truck parking yards available for use by companies and owner operators willing to pay for “secure, modern” parking.
