Pickup slams into back of parked log truck, killing two

Two people are dead after slamming into the back of a parked log truck in Texas early on Thursday morning. 

The accident happened on December 19th in Corrigan, Texas on US Highway 287 West at about 2 a.m. 

According to News4SanAntonio, 36-year-old Gary Vincent and his 25-year-old girlfriend Sikiu Oliveros were on Highway 287 West when the pickup truck suddenly left the highway and slammed into the back of a log truck. 

Vincent and Oliveros both died in the crash. The two were on their way to Silsbee, Texas from North Dakota to meet Vincent’s family for Christmas. The truck driver was not hurt. 

No further information about the accident has been released.
