Potato loading argument leads to truck driver’s arrest over BB gun

A truck driver was arrested after brandishing what turned out to be a BB gun during an argument with a fellow driver.

The incident occurred on October 20th at Allied Potato along Interstate 182 in Pasco, Washington.

According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, two drivers were getting loaded with potatoes when they got into an argument. One of the drivers then pulled out a firearm and began waving it around during the argument before eventually driving away.

Police were called and the officers eventually found the trucker driving on 4th Street, about to take the exit onto I-182. Officers pulled him over in what was considered a “high risk stop,” but investigation revealed that the driver’s weapon was a 1911 BB gun.

Police still took the truck driver into custody for brandishing a firearm, and he was booked into the Franklin County Jail.
