A Roehl Transport truck driver recently achieved an impressive safety milestone.
On September 3, 2024, Roehl Transport announced that truck driver John Moeller achieved six million miles without an accident.
Moeller is the first driver in Roehl Transport history to achieve the six million safe mile mark. He was also the first Roehl driver to achieve three, four, and five million safe miles.
Moeller has been driving trucks for more than 45 years. He joined Roehl in 1979. While he currently works in the Curtainside National Fleet division, he spent decades as a flatbed driver, tarping loads.
In addition to the six million safe miles achievement, Moeller also delivered the company’s first-ever load to Alaska in 2009.
“Our company is built upon our cornerstone value of safety, and John has lived that value with every mile he’s driven. Thank you, John, for your dedication to our industry, to our company and for driving to protect others,” said CEO Rick Roehl.
“John moves into an elite class of drivers – having driven more than 6 million miles accident free is a top tier accomplishment,” said John Spiros, Roehl’s Vice President of Safety and Claims Management.
