Seed truck rollover crash kills husband and wife, Iowa sheriff says

A seed truck rollover crash claimed the lives of two people in Iowa this week.

The crash occurred shortly before 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 6, near Marion, Iowa.

According to the Linn County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO), seventy-four year old John Kilburg was behind the wheel of a seed truck traveling on Highway 13 when he suddenly lost control.

The truck rolled over and came to a stop resting on its side.

Both Kilburg and his wife, Donelle Kilburg, 70, were trapped in the cab of the crashed vehicle and required extrication by first responders.

Both Kilburgs were transported to a nearby hospital, where they later died from their injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.

A truck driver traveling behind the seed truck captured the crash on dash cam.
