TA opens truck stop in Kentucky with 60 truck parking spots

TravelCenters of America (TA) is celebrating the opening of a truck stop in Kentucky as the company’s 300th travel center.

The new 12,200 square foot TA store is located at 145 Richwood Road in Walton, Kentucky, off I-75/I-71 and SR 338 at Exit 175.

TA plans to celebrate the opening of its 300th travel center with a celebration on February 27 at 10 a.m. at the Walton store.

This is one of 20 stores that TA plans to open in 2024, adding 1600 truck parking spaces to the company’s network.

Amenities at the Walton store include:

  • 6 diesel fueling positions (DEF available at every pump)
  • KFC and HWY Kitchen dining options
  • 60 truck parking spaces
  • TA Truck Service Center with four bays
  • Emergency roadside assistance services
  • 6 Showers
  • Laundry facilities
  • CAT scales 
  • Driver’s lounge
  • Pet area
