Tank falls off flatbed on San Antonio interstate

A military tank fell off of a flatbed semi truck in San Antonio on Sunday afternoon.

The incident happened on July 28th in San Antonio, Texas at about 4 p.m. on Interstate 10 near the Wurzbach exit. 

According to News 4 San Antonio, the tank, possibly a M109 Howitzer, was being transported to Camp Bullis by C & T Trucking. Traffic was reduced to one lane while crews worked to clear the scene.

The tank and flatbed tractor trailer had been removed from the highway by 8 p.m.
