Texas Deputy nabs CMV for overweight violation, no CDL, fake docs from Facebook Marketplace

A Texas Constable’s Deputy reported finding a slew of violations on a commercial vehicle in Montgomery County.

A Montgomery County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Deputy recently uncovered a host of major violations that resulted in citations for both the driver and the trucking company.

From Constable Kenneth “Rowdy” Hayden, Pct. 4 Constable, Montgomery County, TX:

“Recently, a truck was found to be overweight, had loose gravel & the driver lacked a commercial driver’s license & valid insurance. Shockingly, the truck’s owner admitted to purchasing a fake insurance card & TXDOT registration from the Facebook Marketplace.

As a result, the truck was towed, and both the driver and the owner received citations. We’re committed to keeping our roads safe & holding everyone accountable.”

“Our Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Deputy has been working hard to ensure that commercial companies comply with state laws,” Hayden said.
