Traffic cam catches big rig crashing off Tennessee interstate into creek

Traffic cameras were rolling to catch the moment that a semi truck veered off a Tennessee interstate into a creek over the weekend.

The crash occurred around 1:30 p.m. on June 2 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Police say that a semi truck traveling on I-24 veered off the interstate and overturned into Mill Creek, spilling its load.

Good Samaritans helped the driver out of the crashed big before police arrived at the scene.

The truck driver was hospitalized with minor injuries.

The crash is under investigation by the Tennessee Highway Patrol, according to WSMV.
