Massachusetts State Police (MSP) are investigating after a man was found dead in the cab of a semi truck at a Massachusetts rest area on Wednesday.
At 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 6, police were called to the rest area on I-495 in Chelmsford to do a wellness check on a truck driver who was not responding to phone calls.
MSP and the Massachusetts Department of Transportation responded to the scene and found an unresponsive male inside the cab of a semi truck at the rest area.
The man was declared dead at the scene.
NBC Boston reports that it isn’t clear whether foul play was involved.
The incident is under investigation.
