Troopers say truck driver was shot in the face on Ohio interstate

The Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) is investigating after a truck driver was shot in the face in Belmont County on Tuesday night.

At 10:37 p.m. on Tuesday, January 30, OSHP received a 911 call about a shooting that occurred on westbound I-470 at mile marker 3.

When troopers arrived on scene, they found West Virginia-based truck driver Michael Brundage inside his commercial vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound to the face.

Brundage was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. His condition is unknown, but WTOV9 reports that he was responsive and conscious.

The incident is under investigation.
