The Washington State Patrol (WSP) is reminding drivers about the importance of load securement after encountering a dangerous hay haul.
According to the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Bureau WSP, a truck hauling hay was pulled over on SR 904 in Cheney, Washington, for load securement issues.
“A semi-truck was hauling this load of hay and was stopped for not securing their load (at all!),” WSP said.
Troopers say that the truck was placed out-of-service for the load securement violation and issues with the vehicle’s trailer brakes and suspension.
WSP asks drivers to secure their loads.
