Iowa troopers are warning truckers about fatigued driving after a big rig crash on I-380 in Buchanan County.

The crash occurred early on Friday, February 23, on southbound I-380 at mile marker 49 near Brandon, Iowa.

Images shared by the Linn County Regional Hazmat Team show the truck crashed off of the interstate into a creek below.

The Iowa State Patrol Commercial Motor Vehicle Unit says that no one was hurt in the crash.

Troopers say that the crash is a good reminder for truckers to avoid driving while fatigued.

Amazingly nobody was hurt in this crash on I-380 recently. It is, however, an important reminder for everyone that driving while fatigued can be just as dangerous as driving while impaired!” the Iowa State Patrol said.
