Police are investigating a fatal semi truck vs. structure crash that occurred in Texas over the weekend.
The crash occurred around 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 29, in Mission, Texas.
Authorities say that a 51 year old truck driver was traveling on W. Expressway 83 when, for unknown reasons, he veered off the roadway.
The truck struck a Fiat, then crashed through a business parking lot, hit a pickup truck, then crashed into a home.
The truck driver died at the scene. An autopsy has been ordered.
The Fiat driver was hospitalized but is listed in stable condition.
The home was unoccupied when the crash occurred. The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports that the home was for sale and a showing was planned for 10 a.m. on Saturday.
The house collapsed after the truck was removed.
Security cameras at a nearby business captured the truck veering off the roadway.
