Truck driver turns himself in for “brake checking” school bus

Truck driver turns himself in after “brake checking” a school bus transporting a school basketball team. 

The accident happened back in February in Madison County, Kentucky. The truck driver turned himself in to police on March 11th. 

According to Fox 56 News, on February 13th,  the Madison County Sheriff’s Office responded to a road rage complaint on Interstate 75 at about 10:30 p.m. involving a semi truck and a Berea Independent School District bus. 

39-year-old truck driver Noah Davenport had allegedly slammed on his brakes in front of the school bus as it transported the school basketball team, causing “extreme danger to the students on board.”

After police investigated the incident, an arrest warrant was issued for Davenport. Davenport turned himself in to police on March 11th. He was immediately arrested and charged with 19 counts of wanton endangerment.
