A major crash involving a truck’s lost load snarled traffic in Houston, Texas, on Monday.
A crash described by the Texas Department of Transportation as a “heavy truck incident” occurred around 11 a.m. on October 7.
A truck hauling a large load was involved in a single-vehicle crash near I-69 Eastex southbound at the I-610 North Loop, causing the load to fall off the overpass.
The incident caused damage to the overpass.
Around 8:30 p.m. on October 7, the Texas Department of Transportation announced that the I-610 North Loop eastbound mainlanes at I-69 Eastex Fwy reopened following emergency repairs.
The incident is under investigation.
