Truck convoy planned for Schultz because “people want answers”

A trucker convoy has been planned in honor of David Schultz as the community still searches for answers surrounding the circumstances of his disappearance.

Drivers in Iowa are being asked to participate in a truck convoy on Friday, May 10th, looping along Highway 20 from Early to Rockwell City from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. This is the route last taken by Schultz before he disappeared.

“This convoy is to add pressure that people want answers. There’s been a lot of rise around this subject and around David Schultz case. We just hope that people actually care about the men and women that serve this country and keep everything supplied so we all can live nice lives,” said Iowa Chairman of C-D-L Drivers Unlimited Mitchel Riesgraf, to KJAN News.

Our hearts really go out to the Schultz family and all those directly affected. Special prayers out there for those that were, you know, part of the search efforts,” Riesgraf says.

A preliminary autopsy done by the state determined that there was no foul play involved in Shultz’s death, but his family is planning on getting a second evaluation of the autopsy results because the discovery of his body “doesn’t add up.”
