Trucker sustains “relatively minor” injuries in serious wreck

A truck driver narrowly escaped a grisly death in a tractor trailer crash in New York on Monday evening. 

The accident happened on August 5th in Henrietta, New York. 

According to 13 WHAM, the semi truck crashed on the New York State Thruway five miles west of Exit 46, seriously damaging the front end of the commercial vehicle and leaving the rig resting against the guard rail. 

The truck driver was trapped for around 25 minutes, but crews were able to free him with only “relatively minor” injuries.
