Trucker tries to just drive away after crunching luxury car at fuel island

Published:

A trucker tried to just drive away after crunching a car fueling up during a tight left turn in this gas station surveillance video.

In the clip, a truck driver tries to leave a gas station by squeezing by a fueling four wheeler in the final stall. The driver doesn’t quite swing wide enough, though, and ends up crunching the front of the car and removing its bumper.

Instead of stopping and getting out to own up to the mistake, the truck driver just keeps on driving towards the exit, leaving the motorist to deal with the incident on their own.

“Hit and run,” wrote the video poster. “13 August 2024 Pennsylvania, USA…. [An M3.] Just tuned it and ceramic coated it too… Body shop just came back with an initial repair quote of $35,000. Hopefully my insurance tracks the guy down or at least gets his company to work with them.”

“The first rule of Trucking – Don’t end up where a truck shouldn’t be. The second rule of Trucking – If you end up where a truck should not be, Swing Wide. He did not follow either,” commented one viewer.
