Trucker vs. trucker road rage sideswipe leaves female driver injured in Tennessee

Published:

Tennessee police are seeking a semi truck driver accused of causing an injury accident and then fleeing the scene in Clarksville on Monday afternoon.

The Clarksville Police Department (CPD) responded to the incident at 1:48 p.m. on May 20.

Police say that a road rage incident involving two truck drivers occurred on I-24 near Exit 8.

CPD says that a semi truck driven by an Hispanic male sideswiped a second semi truck, causing the truck to veer off the interstate, cross the westbound on-ramp of Exit 8, and enter the treeline.

The female driver of the sideswiped truck suffered minor injuries and was “shaken up.”

Police are seeking the driver of the semi truck that fled the scene. The truck will have damage to the right side of the trailer.

Anyone who has information is asked to call 911, CPD says.

The incident is under investigation by the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
