Trucker’s throat cut by second driver in gas station dispute

A truck driver is at large after cutting another driver’s throat during an argument at a Wisconsin gas station on Monday evening. 

The incident occurred on October 21st at 7:04 p.m. in West Salem, Wisconsin at a Kwik Trip on 341 Jefferson Street East. 

According to WEAU13, police were called to the gas station to help a trucker whose throat had been cut by another driver who quickly fled the scene in his red semi truck. Officers arrived to find the victim with a  “substantial but non-life-threatening” cut to his throat and chest. 

The unnamed man was transported to a nearby hospital where he was treated and released. 

Investigation of the incident revealed that the two truck drivers got into an argument in the parking lot, which led to the injury. The two men did not know each other prior to the incident and are not from the area.
