Trucker’s wife killed in Tyson explosion identified, awaiting autopsy

The woman killed in an explosion at a Tyson Foods plant has been identified and is currently awaiting an autopsy.

The Thursday night explosion killed one woman resting in the sleeper berth. The woman has been identified as 61-year-old Bajarma Batozhatov, wife of truck driver Tcyden Batozhatov, who was inside of the building at the time of the explosion but was not hurt, reported WALB 10.

Bajarma’s body was not recovered until Friday afternoon, as first responders had to wait for heavy machinery to help lift building materials off of her.

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday, December 29th, to determine Bajarma’s exact cause of death. The trucking couple is based out of Las Vegas, Nevada.
