Trucking company collects toys to spread Christmas joy in charity truck show

A Massachusetts trucking company worked together with a trucking magazine to collect toys for children in need at a truck show just after Thanksgiving.

The truck show was held in Agawam, Massachusetts on Saturday, November 30th. Those looking to attend the truck show only needed to bring a new, unwrapped toy in order to enter.

Trucking company Chem-X and Gear Jammer Trucking Magazine hosted the event together for the third year in a row. The companies hope to fill a tractor trailer with the toys, which will then be donated to Toys for Tots.

“Anything that you can do for the community is beneficial, not just for the business, but especially for the community,” said Chem-X owner, Bob Hoyle, to 22 News. “You just gotta keep that as the first place.”

“Any little thing helps,” added Gear Jammer Magazine owner Bob Conrad. “One toy or one dinner at Thanksgiving, whatever businesses can give is a good thing.”
