Minnesota Department of Transportation traffic cameras captured a fire truck driver’s questionable maneuver that nearly caused a semi truck crash.
The incident happened on March 4, 2024, in Rochester, Minnesota.
In the traffic camera video, you can see a Rochester Fire Department truck turning onto Highway 52 to assist with a previous car vs. semi truck crash. The turn puts the fire truck directly into the path of an oncoming semi on Highway 52. Fortunately, the truck driver is able to veer away from the fire truck and is able to pull off onto the shoulder safely.
