Michigan State Police (MSP) shared dash cam video of a construction zone crash involving a fishtailing gravel hauler.
The video was captured at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, June 24, in Delhi Township, Michigan.
MSP says that crews were at work on southbound US-127 when “a semi-truck pulling two gravel haulers left the roadway, over corrected and lost control of his rig. The second hauler on the truck fishtailed striking a stationary truck with two road workers inside.”
One road worker suffered a minor injury.
The truck driver was cited for “Careless Driving in a Construction Zone.”
“Reminder of the importance of slowing down and paying attention in the construction zones. This crash could have turned out a lot worse,” troopers said.
