A motorist’s dash cam captured a dramatic dump truck vs. overpass strike that occurred in Virginia on Monday afternoon.
The video was captured around 3:30 p.m. on May 6 on westbound I-66 at the Route 286/Fairfax County Parkway overpass.
In the video, you can see a dump truck traveling in the left lane with a raised bed approaching and striking the overpass, causing the bed to separate from the rest of the truck.
No other vehicles were involved and no one was hurt.
