A party bus driver and his passengers took to the internet to share a terrifying experience with a mob on a highway in Cleveland over the weekend.
The “street takeovers” happened on Saturday, September 28th, with the largest happening on the Interstate 90 Innerbelt bridge in Cleveland, Ohio. The suspects involved are accused of setting fires, stopping traffic, and pointing guns at passing people.
Other takeovers happened on West 25th Street and Lorain Avenue; on West 65th Street; East 93rd Street and Opportunity Corridor; at Steelyard Commons; East 105th Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard; and East 55th Street and Woodland Avenue, reported WKYC 3.
No one was hurt and there was no “serious damage” to public property, according to Cleveland Chief of Police Dorothy Todd. Todd says the department received a tip that the takeovers were organized by “someone from Cincinnati,” prior to the event.
