Video shows tornado toppling big rig on an Iowa highway

Traffic camera video captured the terrifying moment that a tornado blew over a big rig on an Iowa highway on Tuesday.

The video was captured shortly before 5 p.m. on May 21 on Highway 30 near Nevada, Iowa.

The video shows a stopped semi truck along the highway battered by violent winds and rain. The truck is passed by a tanker that appears to drive towards the storm. Finally, the wind pushes the semi truck over onto its side.

It isn’t clear whether either of the truck drivers were injured.
