Dash cam video shows the moment that a train struck a fire truck in Delray Beach, Florida, over the weekend.
The crash occurred around 10:45 a.m. on December 28 near E. Atlantic Avenue and Railroad Avenue.
Delray Beach city officials say that a Brightline passenger train collided with a Delray Beach Fire Rescue ladder truck.
Three Delray Beach firefighters were hospitalized with injuries
Twelve people from the train were also transported to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Delray Beach Police Department, officials from Brightline, and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB).
Brightline shared video of the collision and asked the public to “never drive around crossing gates when they are down.”
