VIDEO: Tractor trailer loses dually tires right in front of cop

A Canadian cop was in the right place at the right time to catch a tractor trailer losing dually tires on dash cam video.

The video was shared by Ontario Provincial Police – North West Region (OPP) on March 2, 2024.

From OPP:

ThunderBayOPP observed a slow moving tractor trailer unit from within the passing lane of the TransCanadaHighway. As the officer was about to initiate a traffic stop to ensure the driver was okay, one of the trucks dually tires disconnected from the axle & began to roll towards on-coming traffic.

This officer placed their police cruiser in front of the rogue dually tire & stopped it from colliding with any on-coming traffic.
