Woman fatally struck by semi truck at private parking lot in Northern California on Wednesday morning.
The incident occurred on April 24th at around 5 a.m. in Fairfield, California near Cadenasso Drive and Beck Avenue southeast of Interstate 80.
According to Fox 40, the truck driver involved in the incident had parked in the lot overnight and was pulling out of the lot when he hit something.
“[The driver] immediately stopped, and when he saw a woman lying on the ground near the truck’s tires, called emergency services,” police said.
Emergency services responded to the scene and pronounced the woman fatally struck by the semi truck, dead. The names of the victim and truck driver have not been released.
The incident is still under investigation.
